dampness effecting throttle response
or the air is damp, the throttle surges and dosn't respond under low rpms. It does not effect the idle at all. When acting up, I have to press the footfeet down approx. 1/2 way before responce. Then it diesels up reving and cutting out.
I have had it to the dealer and they could'nt find anything. Once its warmed up, if I let it sit for a few minutes, it runs normal. It happens mostly on start-ups, or driving on wet roads. Anyone have a similar problem? I have changed the cam sensor and fuel filter within the last 500 miles, still acting up. Earlier this winter I had to change 2 electric footfeet pedals, as they would no longer respond. Any help would be great!
You can drive a hummer under water but you can't take a F250 through a car wash. Break out the hose and bucket...
I have checked my wiring harnesses and had the dealer go over it. It figures when I switch back to Ford after my Ram Truck tranny problems that I would get one that has a freak problem. Such is life......
