Cab Heat

Hello
Since we are on the subject;

88 F-150, 302 4x4. I have problems getting enough heat in the cab. The temp gauge reads between the "o" and "r" on the normal, water pump, thermostat are new. I have problems getting hot heat out. Is there any adjustment that can be made at/under the dash to get the heat hotter. Fan and heat selector are always on high. Could it be a partially clogged heater core or hose and how can you tell?

Any info is much appreciated.

Thanks
Bull

Check where the Hot/Cold lever's cable connects to the duct behind the glove box.

It maybe your heater core. I sort of had the same problem not to long back. Once your motor is warned up check underneath the hood at the heater core for the 2 hoses that connect to it( I would turn up the heat in the cab) to feel if both of your hoses are the same temp.If one is cold your core is clogged.They had to flush the core a few times to get it going. good luck!!!!!!!!!
