hello
on my 85 150 4x4 short box
its on propane and the gauge on the tank works but it doesnt in the dash.
I think the switch for front and rear gas tanks is faulty how can i hook my propane directly up to the gauge in the dash? what wire buy that fuel tank selector switch do i hook into from the propane tank

For the fuel gauge on the dash to work there would have to be the SAME style(type) sending unit in the tank.
I've never seen one like that, It's usually been a look at the site glass to see how much propane there is.

gas gauge
MY glass window on my propane tank has a terminal that you connect a wire to and hook it up to your old gas tank sending unit wire. it does work (not very accurate) but my fuel selecter switch is malfunctioning and i need to hook it up direct. i know this works because befour the selector switch got fried it worked just fine.
