Oil Leak
Paul
You might have to clean the top of the engine, and as much of the underside as possible, and then look for fresh oil after driving for a few miles.
First off welcome to the FTE.
Now take a good bright flashlight, and look really good in the valley of the motor. Is there oil in there? If so is there a sludge or is there actually a pool of it? Now clean the top of the motor really well, over the next couple of days keep an eye on it and look to see if the oil is leaking from the front of the motor or the back at the base of the turbo. If the oil is leaking from the front you probably have an o-ring leak at the HPOP. If it is in the back towards the turbo, it is probably the turbo pedistal o-rings. These can be pretty common leaks and some are worse then others. There is a drain hole in the back passenger side of the valley that the oil will run out and down the back of the motor. So when looking for drips look from the top down. Hope this helps

BTW, I'm not trying to hijack this thread, I just figured you guru's could kill two birds with one stone. It sounds alot like boulder and myself have a very similar problem.
