I currently have a single 12" glasspack with side exit before rear wheel. It's loud, but I'm not a big fan of the 'popping' it does. I heard of these Racing single chambered flowmasters... Are these loud? I was thinking of maybe getting a SI/DO...would that be louder than the glasspack? Would it do that popping sound? Thanks .

 

You will experience plenty of "drone" in the cab with the side exits, and any performance muffler. I tried three different exhaust systems (before I installed my blower) and the best sound and performance was with a true dual system, headers, and single chambers that exited behind the rear tires. I even tried a set of Supertraps for a short while...they made alot of noise, but didn't perform as well as the above mentioned exhuast system.
