CD Changer Replacement Question

I need to replace the factory console installed 6 disc cd-changer in my 2000 Exp, does anyone know if this Alpine model, CHM-S630, will mount in my Exp with out any mods?

If not does anyone know a current model that would?

It will require adapter cables costing a little over 100 bucks to be compatible w/ factory head unit.

I'm aware of the adapter issue. I'm looking at this particular model over at Crutchfield's website and they are stating that I need the FDASX adapter which list for $49.99.

My concern is with the size of the unit, specifically will it fit the stock console mount? This Apline unit is about a 1/16" wider and 1/8" thicker then my current CD Changer, this doesn't sound like much but an 1/8" can throw off the bolt holes when mounting the unit.

Total cost for the adapter and changer is $239.98, so the cost is ok with me.
