junkyard is your best bet remember if yuo have gauges you need to get it out of a truck with gauges if you have idiot lights it must be a truck with the lights
I tried finig one also, but no luck to fit my budget. I just bought the materials and made my own. All you need is the correct connector, the wire, and schematic. I used heay gauge wire because I will be putting in a 100 amp altenator in the future. It really wasn't alk that hard...
Thanks for the tip is there anyway you can give me a quick list of the componets you used and where you got the schematic and the wire that goes to voltage regulator.
As far as the schematic, I used the one out of my Haynes manual. To understand that one, you need to have a pretty good grasp of wire schematics. I als used my old harness as a refrence.
Materials..I can't remember off the top of my head, but buy a connector kit, and diffrent color wirirng for the wires. I also used the original plugs for the V/R and such. Just spliced into them.
Hope this helps a little. Sorry I couldn't do more, but with a bit of patience, it can be done.
You also may want to hit up painlessperformance.com. I believe they have a the one wire conversion kit. That's what i'll be going to here shortly. That eleimantes the external voltage regulator and cleans up the engine compartment some.

Thanks for the info Im pretty confident I could do it I have some electrical training.I just like to have everything planned out before I go poking aroud with the electronics and wiring . I haven't decided what direction I will go in yet and I want to see if I could find that part before I start building it myself just to know if it would have been cheaper.
Also thanks mil1ion for the diagram whatever I do I will let everyone know what I find out .
