57 Ranchero

Hi, I am looking at a 57 ranchero, it needs a passenger door for sure, someone said they would fit off of station wagon, is this true. Where would a person buy new headliner? Also needs both side windows I presume if door off of wagon fit glass would also. Is there any sheet metal or patch panels available for these old cruisers. Any help would be great.

I think a door off a wagon or car will fit, I believe the Rancheros are basically a modified car/wagon body. At least my '71 is.

I'm not sure but I think the door has to come from a two door wgn. or a two door sedan. The door I believe is longer than a 4dr sd. doors.
If you find a 4dr. you can measure the bottom length and the length at the window. Height are the same.
Itried looking at some old picture and it does look like you need to find a door from a 2dr sedan or wgn.

I don't know about the door issue, but I can tell you that you can buy new headliners for the Ranchero. I would check out www.dearbornclassics.com or you might find some on eBay. If you can't find a headliner you want from there, I would go to a local upholster and have them make one for you. And you can get sheetmetal parts for the Ranchero too. I believe Dearborn Classics has those too, but I can't remember. If anything hop onto eBay and see what you can find.

I have a very good tailgate, gravel shield and cowl vent cover and screen, tail light housings and tail light lenses if you want spare parts.

The doors from a 2 door wagon and a 2 door custom and custom 300 will fit.
I have alot of 57 ford parts, but doors I am not willing to give up.
If you need any other parts I may be able to help.
