Question About Intake Manifold

I am getting ready to install the intake back on 83 302 4brl Holley on it. Two Question?
I have cleaned and painted the heads of all the bolts but 2 of them have a nut with exstended threads up from the manifold. Not for sure where these 2 bolts are suppose to go in the pattern.

Next I bought a new thermostat housing and thermostat. After installing the housing and thermostat I can take my fingure and move the thermostat around by reaching up through the port in the intake. Is this normal for the thermostat to move after the bolts are tight or did they give me the wrong one?

Thanks for any input
JJH

Question About Intake Manifold

Thanks Dennis
One other question for you? Your diagram where did you get it from? I have to replace all of the cerpentene assembly on the front and I might need to have a reference to reassemble the brackets and bolts.
Thanks Again
