Hello All!!!!!!
So I guess I'm the newest member of the moment, I'm sure I won't be the newest member for long on a site like this. A little intro to me, I am a Retired Coast Guard Chief Engineer. Been doing mechanic work most of my life so I'm not afraid to turn a wrench.
If your courious about the nick name I also fly RC helicopers, the brand name of first was called a raptor and I use to live in Mobile Alabama, hence MobileRaptor. I stick with it because it easy to remember.
My first Ford Truck was a 1979 F-100 SWB standard cab with a 400M, C-6 trans and a locker rear end. It was purchased new in this configuration. There were several hop-up to this truck, cam, intake carb, headers and a MSD ignition. this was a fun truck.
Current driving a F-150 long bed king cab with a 302. it's been my business truck for 10 years and I have retired it from it's work life and am going to turn it into my play toy and an RC Aircraft hauler.
I've been having a intermittant problem with the transmission so my next post will be in the transmission forums.
