I was working on a buddy's truck, and one of the thing's to be fixed was some new u-joint's in the front shaft. When I went to pull it out of the truck I noticed that the cardnel joint was at the front end and the single u-joint was at the transfer case.Ive done several u-joint's,and front end work on theis ol Ford's,and I HAVE NEVER seen the cardnel joint at the front end.Shouldn't the cardnel joint(double U-joint)be at the transfer case, and the other end of the shaft having a single u-joint be at the front end???
I think the T-case was swaped, and the replacment T-case had the other yoke on it,and the driveshaft was turned around so the u-joint's would match the yoke's.Weird.

Reason: missed a letter
Instead of the u-bolt's that would hold the cap's in place their is bolt's going threw the yoke on the front end.And instead of bolt's going threw the yoke on the T-case their is u-bolt's holding the single u-joint to it.weird eah?
