Red '58 M-100 w/ a 223 I-6 65,000+ when Father inherited her & 95,000+ when I traded him for her (now has a 300 I-6 w/ 400FPT & 300HP), Merc-O-Matic (now has a HD/HP C-4), 8ft bed, 118WB, 3.70 gears.
Blue '58 M-100 Panel w/ a 223 I-6, Merc-O-Matic, she's still in Manitoba & that's all I know about the Olde Girl.
Cheque out my Gallery for Pix of both of them.
Cheers

Well I guess I will give you something to think about. My pride and joy happens to be a Mercury truck. Its a 1952 Mercury 1-Ton dually, full size,
4-door pickup truck. Pictures of it have been in the FTE 48-52 forum, and in the FTE photo galleries. I have other trucks also in my garage, but this is the only Mercury Truck. The others are Fords.
Have A great Day ! Tracy

As to posting in your gallery...I assume you have visited it? If not, click on the "User CP" button at the upper left corner of the main screen. Select "Edit Gallery". Then select "Create Album". Fill in all the info (some of it is required, I think).
Then, under the text screen, where it says "Browse" and has a button, click on the browse button. Navigate to where your pictures are in your computer, click on the picture you want to insert and click "Open" on your directory. The routing to that photo will appear opposite the "Browse" button. Scroll down to "Add photos" (or something like that) and it will go into your gallery. You can edit the photo to add text, descriptions, etc. The instructions are pretty good once your in the middle of it.
I would suggest adding photos one or two at a time, if you are on dialup modem. If you're on DSL or a T! (etc), go fo it. But the upload does take a while sometimes, especially when the server is pretty busy.
Post those pictures, man! Inquiring minds want to know...

Hey Richard -
Great looking truck!
The gallery pictures are very good quality. Looks like you figured out how to post them OK. But your truck looks like a 55 to me, not a 50.
Love the subtle color you picked too.

1960 M100, shortbox styleside... being broken up, because the front clip is rusty and every part of the grill is dented, the frame is bent, the box has one good side and a Ford tailgate, cab is rusty... about the only good thing about it is the title. It donated the front/rear axles and engine to the '57 panel.
1959 M100, shortbox flareside, 223/3 spd LD/44, standard cab. I drove it for several years until the cab rust got to be too much, and the engine suddenly started pushing blue. The front sheet metal is almost dent-free, with little rust except for fenders. I'm hoping to spend some time with it this year, go through the hydraulics, and swap in a spare 223 so that it is at least mobile. This truck looked good even in red primer with a gloss black grill, chrome headlight doors and polished slot mags.
