Check you throttle cable and actuator for throttle body or carb, year of truck didn't get finished. You can disconnect the cable and work it back and forth to feel if it is binding. Once it is detached you can actuate the butterfly and feel if it is sticking. If neither is, go to your gas pedal and check it for freedom of movement.
