Door Lock Actuator Question..

I can't find the post now, but someone on this board said that they found a place to get replacment DC motor for the actuator. It'd be an easy fix if I could find the right motor.

Have you tried to take the motor apart and clean the brushes?

Sometime it works.

Little dc motors like thease are brushless. They have little magnets and a armiture.

I took one apart today. Looked like brushes to me.
