new 05 edge

hey everyone, just got me a new 05 edge yesterday and been looking for possible accessories and stuff that i can get for it in the future. If anybody knows of anywhere that I can find stuff for it I would really appreciate your input.

Congrats, I bought an 04 holdover last week. I like the truck alot, but am not impressed with milage, I've been told it will get better as the truck gets some miles on it. I've been looking through a few sites and most don't mention 04 for parts yet, but I did get a bed cover from the dealer. What are the specs om your truck?

I've got the EDGE package on mine, its a 2wd standard cab, short bed, 3.0L OHV V6 engine, and automatic tranny, I haven't gotten the total specs yet since I've only had it for a day but hopefully within the next day r two I can find the full out specs for it as well as find a repair manual so I have it way before I ever need it.

Mines a supercab 4x4 with the 4.0 and a 4.10 rearend. Let me know what you think of the 3.0...the dealer talked me out of it.

yea my dealer didnt have any of the 4.0L in stock, I was originally looking at getting one of the 4 bangers, but I was looking for a black truck and the only one they had was the V6 EDGE so I test drove it and fell in love. But so far doin good, got a pretty decent acceleration rate as well as the power is good. Wasnt even trying to but I spun the tires a bit on the way home last night when a light turned green, and I didnt even stomp on it or nothin.

Yeah...the 4.0 is a pretty good engine. Like I said, aside from gas milage, everything about it is good. I traded an 03 F150 4x4 with the 4.6 V8 in for this truck, the 4.0 is something like 210 horse, 240 torque and the 4.6 was 230, 300 (I think) and a ranger is about 3000lbs less in weight...let the fun ensue!
