Head lights go out

I have a 94 f-350. I have been plowing alot of snow lately and head lights keep going out. I changed the switch a few weeks ago. Is ther a headlight realy some were? Just the headlights go out not the parking lights. They only go out for a second or 2.

I suspect the problem is the headlight circuit breaker is operating. Do you have truck headlights and plow headlights both on at the same time. If so the high current is causing the breaker to operate. OR it could be overheating connections on the light switch (if it's like my '93) causing the breaker to overheat. This breaker is, I believe but don't have my book here, in the switch. The only relays you may have in the factory lighting circuit would be for the trailer package. There may also be some relays associated with the plow light wiring.
