351C help

Does anybody no all the specs for a 1972 351C with a 4 speed trans. This is in a 1968 Ford F-100 that i got last night. We think that the motor and trans came out of a 1972 Mach 1 Mustang. How can i found out what this came out of.

if the aluminum tag is still bolted to the coil bracket, it will tell you. if not, you know its 1970-74 if its really a Cleavland engine.

two or four barrel only lets you know if you have the quench heads or not. they are the good ones but you could get a two barrel in a mach 1 as well.

Not all 4V heads are 'quench' head either.........

it is a 4 barrel carb. it is no tag on the motor any where that i can find.

cast iron intake or aluminum?

get parts numbers off the intake and heads, that will help
