I know the standard H2's are 4x4, but I was at work today and saw a H2 limo and for some reason for the first time it struck me.......are those 4x4 too? . Probably a dumb question, but when your bored at work all kinds of junk crosses your mind.
Speaking of H2, someone told me they were cosmetically enhanced Tahoes. That is to say they are built on the Tahoe chassis with the H2 body style. Supposedly not at all like the H1. Can anyone verify this? I've never wasted my time looking at an H2 close up. I think H1's are cool, though.
I have never wasted any time on any Hummer as a serious vehicle for any use .
We had a contract oilfield survey company working for us that leased 4 H1's
to work in the patch and they took them back in the spring and paid the penalty on the lease to switch back to F250 4X4's . They were useless at work and were stuck most of the time and required a cat to drag them back to solid ground all the time .
Might be great in rockey terrain or on the dessert in the middle east but usless in any bush country where you have areas of muskeg and loonslop gumbo sprinkled in the mix .
