CV-Joints?
'98 Ramger XLT 4X4
When making a turn at slower speeds, I get a metallic popping sound from the right front. I know the 4x4 works properly and when this happens I'm NOT locked in 4 wheel drive although the feeling in the steering is almost just like when you turn slowly on dry pavement while in 4x4. Does this sound like a bad CV-joint? I checked the boots for cracks and don't see anything abnormal.
