03 Explorer Front Differential
I went through a severe ice storm and over heated my front Differential on my 2003 Explorer 4x4, 4.6 liter. Does anyone now what type it is / part number?? AWD or 4x4?? I would like to change out the whole assembly but I’ve never done one before. I think I can do it myself but if it takes special tools I’ll go another rout. I was hoping someone could give me a direction to go with. Ford wants $1200 for the new part but I’m looking to hit the junkyards or maybe buy new, just not from the dealer. Any help at this point would be a blessing. Thanks.
