ignition module wiring??
i'm in the middle of swaping a 1974 390 into my 1988 f-150 that had an I6 in it. i have everything i need except the original wiring harnesses. i bought a new ignition module and the wire colors are diferent than my manual says. i have the rest of the truck wired up and i was wondering if anyone new what wires go where. the wire colors are purple orange white red, on the 4 pin conector, and blk/grn and green on the 2 pin connector. any ideas??

okay, the three wires coming out of the industive pickup, match those colors to the colors in the 4 prong connector, the 4th terminal left in the 4 prong connector goes to the - side of the coil, then i think it is the white wire in the 2 prong connector goes to the + side of the coil and the red wire in the 2-prong connector gets switched power.
