hey i have some QQs ok one does a 10.25 have a carrier break in them.two how would tell if u have a good 10.25 like what should i loook for to be wrong.and three how do i know if a have a long yoke 10.25 or a shrt yoke 10.25 thanks
I'm with you on any info about the 10.25 I just bought an 95' F250 with the 10.25 and have the same questions about it as you. The only thing I do know is the drum brakes are a pain to change on them
The shoes are held on by hooks and tight springs. Not at all like the 1/2 tons I have done.
I'm sure when I have done a few more it will be easy, but at this point I'd rather frame my house with a fisher price hammer. lol I think there is a tool made just for the springs & hooks on the 10.25 brakes

HECK I just changed mine last night they was a BREEZE compare to my ol half ton and dana 60's rears.....
