Although I've perused this site for over a year, I have
a few questions.
It was my understanding that the block heater is installed, but the
cord was dropped as standard equipment (unless you live in a really
cold state). The sales manager told me that the 05's DO NOT have
the heater installed. I haven't had a chance to dig under the truck
yet to see if he was right.
Is there any way to change the redundant radio control button to
go to the next programmed station, rather than do a seek?
I get really upset when someone who is selling something cannot give a correct answer. YES YOUR TRUCK HAS THE BLOCK HEATER INSTALLED. Yes the cord is only installed now in certain states. So probably not installed in your truck. If not you will have to buy it and install it. Check different dealers as the price seems to vary alot. Also some people have had a better price at the international dealer. BOY I HATE STUPID SALES PEOPLE. Would'nt it be nice to get the correct answer " you know I am not sure".

If you find out let me know. I haven't been able to figure it out and neither has anybody else that I know of. Stupedest thing I've heard of -- well probably not but close.
Maybe I'm not understanding the (radio) question about going to the next programmed station.....but can't you program the buttons to go to your next station. Am I looking at too many trees and not seeing the forest?
On the heater thing...I couldn't find my plug in for about 2 or 3 weeks. Finally read a few threads here and looked right where everyone told me it would be. Zip tied above the pass. tow loop. Very hard to see!
The model years before 2005 had the heater and cord stock from the factory. Starting with model year 2005 only certain states had the heater and cord as stock. The rest of the states have only the heater installed as stock. The cord is a order item. Guess a cost cutting deal like the hood blanket and rear wheel inner covers.
