Just thought that I would add a fun toppic in here. I just finnished racing my friends 2004 GMC 1/2 ton extended cab 4wd, 4.10 gears, 265/70/17 tires, with the 5.3 and 9000km with my 2004 F-150 FX4 flareside scab 5.4, 3.73 gears,275/65/18 tires, with 17400 km. It went something llike this.
From a dead stop both of us steping on the brake and reving to 1500rpm's. His passenger slammed his door and we both broke loose because of our cold tires. Second attempt same starting technique. Both sets of tires squeeledand I pulled ahead by little over a truck length. He gained back when he hit second gear to a fender ahead. Both shifted again and I pulled on him, I let off at 155km/hr when I was looking straight over to his front bumper. Lots of fun. Now I think I have to go after my dads 2004 Dodge Ram 3/4 ton extended cab 4wd with the "super HEMI" HAHAHA
It's more fun to pull them out when they run off of the road in the snow or ice. You don't run the risk of getting a ticket and usually theie rig is banged up a bit, not only do you hurt their ego by pulling them out you get to see the look on their face when they see how much damage they did to their truck.
