So this mega cab is made more or less so the back seats can recline? I think the dodge 4 door right now has plenty of room, i am 6'7, my friend Tucker is 6'6 my other friend Calvin is 6'4 and we are all up over the 300+ range and i was able to fit Tucker/Cal in the back seat with myself sitting shotgun without even a squeeze. I guess the megacab is somewhat un needed, just my opinion.
I saw the new Dodge XXXL cab on their website last night. I hope Ford offers something similar in their Superduty Line soon. That is the only reason Im getting out of a truck and into an Suv this time, (Expedition/Navigator).My kids are big and I take a lot of long road trips. I want reclining seats in the back and more cab space. My current F150 Supercrew has been awesome. No problems in 85K miles.
the new body syle dodge trucks with the full 4 doors are like a ext. cab there is not any room in the back compared my f-250
The newest Dodge trucks are called the megacab and have just been introduced. They will have the largest cab of the big three.
I have a quad cab 2000 and I just don't need the extra room, however I also don't need the big bed so if I was buying and its not toooooo much more I might try one.
I was looking over on another forum on the new Dodge megacab and most all the people there did not give it favorable reviews. The looks off the 2006 Dodge really turns me off it looks like the new Dodge Durangoe. The interior is nothing to write home about. Looks like this truck with the exception off the cab is no threat to superduties dominance. As usual Dodge leaves a lot to be desired.
omg alot to be desired now i know what they mean by brand loyalty
ok i will gladly tell you. anyone who looks at the pics of the interior of the new mega cab and says alot to be desired lol like what. it is obivous the guy is a ford man. i love fords but the new dodge is awsome on the inside. it is sad most of my ford brothers r too imature to admit there is something else nice beside ford .now does that answer your question
... You need to understand that people have opinions, if they do not agree with yours does not mean they are wrong or an obvious Ford guy.
By the way I too think it does need some work to be a good layout in both ergonomics and styling. However I am not one to believe that if you do
not see it my way you must have a twisted way of thinking.

well i guess if people want a caddilac then the truck needs more but for the people that want a truck like me it has more than enough just my ideas nothing personal
Good point just your view....it suits you and maybe not others
When you say "my ford brothers r too imature to admit there" it is personal and it is in the Guidelines not to do it
No company or product offers something that will suite everyone. No matter how hard they try. Dodge makes their interiors they way they fell will suit the costomer, same for Ford. Neither is right or wrong. The new Dodge is a very nice looking rig with a good interior. A good effort by Dodge with a great result. But like I said before, isn;t going to suite everybody out there.
Dodge hasn't had a true Crew Cab since 1989 or 90. Crew Cab Longbed Dually never came with the Cummins then either.....it was the 360 or 440 (1983 or 84 for the 440). Still.....it was when Dodge was making real trucks.
