I have AT&T service with an LG phone. I don't have many complaints about service. It works good for me in about 90% of the places I go. Only place it doesn't work well is in the mountains far from civilization, when it is truly needed.

I live in canada and i have an lg5450 (camera phone) TELUS IS SH** for starters, terrible reception, when i'm in my different classes in the school the reception is close to nothing, but my old kyocera on MTS was full strength, but recently iv'e noticed a better signal, maybe they put up a new tower. and did i mention telus has a horrible plan, and they don't carry a cord for my phone, so it costs me 25cents to send each picture. Which is horrible

I use T-Mobile. I've had numerous phones and had great reception with all of them. Right now I have a Samsung E715, and the girlfriend had a Moto V300. My best phone was probably a Samsung R225. It got reception where all the others couldn't. I have been looking at an iPaq and will most likely get one next month. Beware of the mobile phone/PDA's though, they are fine if you aren't moving, but once you get going, the reception goes to squat.

I've got Nextel with the i58sr and I haven't had many problems. I know everyone who doesn't have Nextel is thinking "I hate that stupid walkie-talkie", but I absolutely love that feature! One of the best things anybody has come up with!

I just got rid of AT&T. Since the Cingular merger they have gone downhill and I always had poor to non-existant coverage up here in the mountains. Verizon is what everyone up here has so that is what I have now. My company has contracts with several vendors, so I have a choice.

Old phones: Motorola T-50, the original "flip phone", but huge by todays standards, followed by a Motorola "peanut" style phone. The new one is an LG VX4500, ultra-modern, but not analog capable for real remote areas.
