Power Door Locks-94'
Hi i have a 94'Bronco, AUTO...and just recently my door locks went, apprx 4 days ago, and they are power door docks, only my security system will lock/unlock them, or i will have to manually press down on them, what could be the cause they must be getting power to lock/unlock, due to the security system doing that? Comment back pleaseee

If the schematic for the security system was available, I could probably pinpoint the issue. There is most likely a relay that redirects the power to the door switches when the system is disarmed. However, without a diagram, I can't even begin to tell you where to look for it.

My 93 power locks just went but only the lock button not the unlock, I cant figure it out. I have had problems with what sounded like an electric motor running as if the button was stuck. A quick flicker of the buttons and it would stop and go back to normal opperation. Now I have to push the button down to lock it or use the key.

hmm, i am gettin a viper xv791 installed tomorrow i am going to ask them to take a look at it, but its best buy, im not sure if they will know? and with the door locks, i had that happen to me about a week before they went totally...my passenger side door worked for locking/unlocking but the drivers side didnt at all...my passenger side door lock was stuck in the middle about moving that and unlocking/locking worked from the passenger side and fixed the drivers side too.

The odd part about mine is that it is only the lock part for both passanger and drivers side door. The unlock works fine?!?!?! It is messed up. If i have to replace it will be no biggie I found them at a junkyard for cheap.
