Tuned For Ethonal?
I do not know about tuners that might do what you want but I can tell you the Ford V10s that I own run very poorly on the clean air seasonal fuels I get stuck with when I travel.
Personally I have no earthly idea what e85 is but it sounds like from the name it is equivilent to 85RON and I am always telling people to run name brand 87 octane and some times mid grade 89 is better in very hot and higher altitude situations.
My personal trucks like Chevron with techron and get about 1.2 mpg better when compared to all the other local or national brands here. Others on these sites say they don't detect any difference between brands and some folks have very good reports with Shell. There are a few out east that swear by BP fuel.
Almosteverybody agrees that the "blended" fuels are sluggish and hurt performance. And once out of that region and good fresh gas the power comes right back so we know it is the "clean air blends" that are mandated in some regions.
I beleve most folks who have the V10 are seeking better preformance and my attitude is if you have one of these beasts and plan to use it then stop worrying about MPG. All heavy air dam shaped trucks get lousy fuel milage. Especially towing or hauling.
If you need great MPG get a Prius... I know that is harsh but it is a big damned truck!

This is an interesting question: GM has offered a version of their 5.3 V8 that is capable of running normal gas as well as E85 for a fairly nominal cost (my brother-in-law who owns just such a beast reminds me all the time).
I have always been curious what is required to be able to run both. I've never heard any word from Ford on this.

Now I gotta look up some more things and reread my owners manual because I think Ford does have a option to burn blends and somewhere I think is a strong suggestion to NOT burn certain methonol blends, I don't know how chemicaly similar ethonol is.
Best of luck.
