Windows messenger
A "pop up window" with the words "Windows Messenger" on the blue title ribbon pops up everytime I open a site. Nothing happens when I open it and try to install the newest version. Started today. Anyone else out there with Windows XP having this problem? Would either like to install or just get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply, however, I get as far as the "Properties" in step 6. The "stop" button in step 7 is not active, however "Disable" is highlighted in the startup type scroll bar in step 8.. I click "OK" in step 9, but the problem continues. I cannot seem to activate the "stop" button in step 7. Appreciate the quick post. Any other suggestions.
