I'm replacing the Water/fuel drain valve on my '99 PSD because it leaks. I already have the part and the Torx#20 the screws take to remove them. My question, is there anything else besides opening the bowl and draining the water and fuel from it before I attempt to remove those screws and the valve? I just want to make sure before I screw it up royally. I have searched and got some info, like the Torx# etc. Is this all? Anyone please chime in....
I did it back at the beginning of Dec. I think you can do a search with my user id and find a good thread from several people on the step by step procedures. But is pretty much, crawl up on the motor remove the four screws and the replace and that is it.
Glad to help! Been out for several years but with each new, news flash it is starting to get real temping to go back! I don't want to think that my boy might have to go clean up a mess that I could have cleaned up for him. Never played in the litter box. Trained in CA but then wound up staying on the east coast.
