I know the basic wheels I have on my 85 Bronco are 15x7 and I have 235 75/R15 tires. But when someone says "5 by 5 1/2" what does that 5 1/2 mean??? Is that the attachment bolt length? I know that 5 is the # of lug nuts. I know its a dumb question so dont get down on me too much. :-X11 What other vehicle makes have rims that fit fords? I need to get rid of the white wagon wheels!!!!!

Number of lugs = 5 Diameter of bolt pattern is 5 1/2" measured center to center.
I have the same size bolt pattern on my stock '48, so Ford used that for a long time on half-ton trucks. Dodge and some Jeep truck wheels are the same.
