Power window problems..........
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-Mar-02 AT 01:05 AM (EST)]I have an 86' F-150 4x4 Lariat with power windows. Last fall, the driver side window started to have motor problems. It will go down fine, but when i try and roll it back up it skips and falls back down. It wont go up on it's own. I have to hold the top of the window or push on the side to make it go up. Is this a worn bearing or something else? is there an easy fast fix, or if not...how hard is it to replace?

You have to drill out the rivets that holds the motor to the door.
I Just replaced the motors for my friend's truck.
Getting the new one in ,you have to be a contortionist and be ingenuitiy,if you use screws instead of the Huge Rivets that come with the new one.
To hold the window up I used a clothes pin that was taken apart.
