Hello everyone,
I am a newly registered member to the forum, however, I have spent many hours reading your posts. I recently sold my 1971 f100 hi-boy and replaced it with a 1979 f-150 ext. cab ranger XLT. Even after all the research on the 71, it feels like I'm starting all over with the 79. In the last few days I have already increased my knowledge of this body style and the 335 engines (351M) that came with them.

Welcome to FTE !
You understand very well that you've started a completely different project. There's a whole bunch of differences between those trucks.
The new info that you need is only a question away. If it's also posted in the correct forum, you'll get all the answers you need.
