Spare Tire??????

Spare Tire??????
Alright, I have a set of 285/75/R16s on my truck, I beleive the spare is a factory size at 265/75/R16. It just kinda occured to me what am I going to do If I get a flat tire at the lake or some where. The 265 would probably be fine to get me to a garage if I was in town but having two different tire sizes cann't be good for my truck. Anybody know anything about this subject. I also have the 3.73LS in the rear end. Help me out!!!!!

Sorry, yeh it's 4 Wheel Drive. I more concerned about my rear end but I suppose I can always change 2 tires!!!! Move one from the fornt to the back and then put the spare on the front. I don't think It will hurt anything as long as my hubs aren't locked in, Will it??

Alright, 75 people have read this and I've had only 1 answer, somebodys gotta know smething about running two different size tires on the same axle and the consequeces of this. I know I'm not the only one here with larger tires than the spare! maybe I caught everyone off gaurd and you all are now thinking the same thing????? I highly dought it though! help me please!!!!

If its a real short distance, and you have 2 different sizes on the rear with an LS, dont worry about it. If its gonna be for a while, run the 2 different sized tires up front, hubs unlocked and you will be fine. Even in 4wd it should be ok with no LS, but Id run it in 2wd to be safe. If you do need 4wd the tires will be slipping which means that it wont affect anything anyway.
