Just wondering where everyone is. No ones posted since yesterday and all is quiet here. Been waitin for someone to speak up before i posted this thread!! Anyways i hopes everyone is ok and nothing major has happened to anyone!! Just getting ready for this snow storm to come in!!
We're here! We were just waiting for you to start a new thread. You know how it is when your in a room and everyone is talking and then all of sudden there is that brief period of silence. We were just at that point. (that's usually when someone makes a bodily noise) Unfortunately we can't hear that through the puter and laugh, so we'll just have to imagine it. Thanks for starting something.
Here and having fun. Had to go out and test the wifes new Jeep in th snow today. Wasn't as good as the old Ford but I must say it was peppy and a lot of fun. Purposely put it into some slides and even took it into the ditches and pastures to see if it could pull back out of them. Nice to report all came out well and even though I would much rather drive my F150 I would not be afraid to take the Jeep in an pinch.
That's where you go to another city, spend lot's of money, to sleep in a hotel where everyone in the hotel is making more noise then you, and sometimes having the sexual olympics in the room next door, while you and the wife are fighting over the trip thus far. Then you have to go veiw a botanical garden or see a play that doesn't have 1 monster truck in it. And what what you really want to do is stay home spending the time and money on your truck (s). At least that is a married vacation. :-)
PS We'll be in Witchita the 17th through the 20th for Valentines Day - Room at some B&B caslte on the river - Tickets to Crown Uptown, Reservations at some Italian place downtown, and we have to go to a big craft fair... all because, rumor has it, someone spent too much at a recent swap meet.... :-)
Flip, The phrase "you gotta pay to play" comes to mind lol. Between work, swap meets, and pulling motors I havn't had alot of puter time. And to top it off I got a wife and 4 kids but only 1 puter, Time on it is usually obtained by some combination of begging, threats of bodily harm, or covert operations lol.
Flip, I hear ya!! I'm almost afraid to even think about another vehicle because every time I've bought one she goes to the jewelry store and no matter how good the deal was on the truck it still costs me more than double.

Ha ha ain't that the truth. Luckily It's just the wife and I, and we have 6 computers (It's a computer tech-guy thing) at home - so no fights there.
Hey, Duane--if you got someplace to put it, I probably got an extra computer you can have. Several little monitors too--not much good for games but probably okay for homework and stuff. I'll sort through the wreckage in my computer room this weekend.
