95 F-150

Just posted, but somehow it disappeared. Anyway, I have a 95 F-150 with a 302 2WD. It' losing oil somehow. Doesn't smoke, but lost a quart over the last 400 miles. Has minor leaks from the rear main and the pan gasket, but not major enough to cause this much of an oil loss. Any help would be appreciated.

It might be minor when sitting in the driveway.

Under pressure while you're whipping down the road, it might be a spigot.

If it only leaks when I am going down the road, how do I tell if it is burning or using oil?

Your tailgate will have oil patches on it from spatter whipping around. Also, the undercarriage will have oil on it, and given the amount of oil you are losing, it will probly have quite a bit underneath.
