I have a similar setup and on a '99 V-10 and put on a pair of JBA shorty header and a flowmaster muffler. I'm no pro on headers but the JBA's worked really good with my package and I seen alot of gain in towing power when the 5th is behind. I would imagine that there area a lot of options, all I'm saying is that if somebody tries to sell you a JBA header or you run on them at a good price, they work good for the package.
I've got Borlas on my 03 cc F350. they were challenging to install, hard to get to all the bolts to tighten them, but fit and finish is great and I feel towing power is improved.
You should check out the headers they sell on ebay for the v10s. I have them on my truck, and they work well. They are also less than half the price of any other brand I have seen. The only problem is you might have to do a little modification with them. I had to ream out the bolt holes a little, but the headers definitely gave me some good power, and they haven't leaked yet. I have put at least 12,000 miles on them along with my supercharger. You can pick them up for 209.00
