My '85 F150 had the 351 HO 4bbl, C-6, a ford 9", and the transfercase was a NP 208 I believe. Most the ones Ive seen from the mid to early 80's had a new process in it.
Assuming that it is the 208, can it be run w/o a front driveshaft w/o damage? I'm thinking of swapping it into a 2wd truck, but not converting the front axle until a year or so down the road. Thanks!
