A while ago someone asked about my avatar, so here are some pic's, they are also in my gallery under the 66 F100 album
That is the dash and this is my overhead panel
What do you think??
I used too! I have ignition, starter, stereo, etc. hooked into it, it makes people think you are running an airplane!! I had driving, fog, and backup lights from there also. I'll see if I can list them: driving, fog, backup, starter, stereo, ignition, alternator cut-out, brake light on, normal, off switch. That is in no particular order.
Man! I think I need more switches too. Good reason to buy stuff to hook um up to. Ummm, fog lights, bug lights, bumper heater,..sounds good to me. Really, looks good. You did a nice job.
They are Autometer, what they call the Traditional Series now. They were all Autometer made when I bought them!! They are all about 15-20 years old except for the voltmeter which I put in about 10 years ago. I like the switch setup because of the looks I get when non-gearheads see them!!!
It is a piece of aluminum plate cut to fit the stock cluster space. I left enough lip to screw it to and cut the center out(sorry restoration guys!!). It took some tinkering to get the gauges where they were all visible. I put the main ones near the center. Tach, speedo, oil pressure and oil temp between them and water temp to the right.
I'm glad it's appreciated!
Grandad, that is Western Larch needles that accumulated in the fall when the tarp was not covering it. I was working on it when the Larch needles started to fall.

There are some suppliers that have a billet dash panel for our trucks. My favorite is http://www.jbmicrofinish.com They have 5 hole, 6 hole, polished, or satin finish. They can also custom make one just for you.
