New Turbo

Just istalled my new turbo, WOW - installed it my self with 3" downpipe & exhaust, new autometer piller gauges. Loaded the snowmobile deck and two sleds (roughly 500 Lbs per sled, 400 lb deck). i couldn't beleive how it pulled, i could pass when ever i chose to, not when the wind was blowing the right way going downhill, Ha Ha. Wondering what what max boost is and if i should torque my heads down to 110 ftlbs of torque like the factory turbo set ups or just leave at 100lbs. I'v only run the boost to 6lb and pyro to750 so far. thanks

i have a 92 turbo that i just did and from what i have been told in here the goinngnumberseems to be about 12 for the max boost. that is were mine is and i have had no problems with the stock 100 pounds of torque so far, granted i only have 10k or so on the turbo. if your pyro is before the the trubo then you can go to 1200 tops if it is after then 900 should be a safe stopping place.

I have all my pillar stuff sitting in my truck because I cant decide where to mount my relay boxes for the guages. Where did you put yours? Did you remove your dash?

i dont have any relay box's with my gauges. the banks guages that i have are basically hard wired. the boost gauge has a direct feed line to the intake and the pyro has 3 wires, but no relay boxes. all of my guages are mounted in pod on the bottom of the dashunder the as tray. makes them a little hard to read in a pinch, but i am not hard on the motor and i check the guages regularly.
