I was doing a tune up //changing the plugs, cap and rotor...
and the second to last plug seems to be cessed up, any suggestions on how to try and remove with out ripping it out of the block?
Try spraying alot of PB Blaster around it a few times and let it sit and work in. I am told spraying 2+2 through the intake will loosen carbon build up. It will smoke some when you do it. I had one snap off. I was able to get it out with a good easy out and a pair of vice grips. Good luck with it.
Like the previous poster said - use PB Blaster. I used liquid wrench for years, then I discovered PB Blaster. Wanna buy an old can of liquid wrench, I got one I never use anymore. Not to be a smart-***, but PB Blaster is fantastic, much, much better than liquid wrench. I've also heard good things about Areokroil.
I just bought a can, maybe I'll have some PB Blaster for sale, but I doubt it.
PB blaster is good, but didnt get through my EGR pipe...
Warm the engine up, spray some lubricant on the plug, put the socket wrench on the plug. Get a hammer and hit the wrench...lol, I know it sounds dumb, but I got my O2 sensor out that way.
PB Blaster is great stuff! You might try this, take a candle and melt some way around the plug. Crank the engine and run it till its hot, then try to remove the plug.
