Radio doesn't work
Well, I'm back with a problem. I a new HU in my truck, a pioneer DEH-1500, had a 1400 in there before. I hooked it up and the radio doesn't work. When I hooked it up everything looked fine, matched up right, etc, but the radio doesn't work, found that out on Friday. Any ideas, I haven't had time to pull it back out again yet and take another look. Cd's play fine, so I assume that it is probably something to do with the antenna or antenna in connection. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. I don't listen to the radio often, so it's no biggie if I can't fix it, but when i went to listen to it, it was kinda weird not being able to, and annoying at that.

If you had to get an adapter for the HU to antenna then thats probably the source of your problems. My dad had it just a little loose and the antenna didnt work at all. Make sure that if it does have an adapter that it is pushed in tight, and that when you push the HU in that it doenst pop out. Try plugging in the antenna and turning it on while its not in, and see if it works. My f150's pretty tight there and your might be too.
