4.0 performance parts for Explorer
I own a 91 2dr Eddie Bauer Explorer. I want to rebuild another 4.0 motor to replace the current stock one which is getting a little tired. Does anyone know if, or where you can get or do any real performance upgrades to the 4.0? I am mainly looking at cam and head upgrades. Is it unrealistic to look for over 200hp out of this motor without taking out a second mortgage. I just put over $1000 in the A4LD trans so I'd rather not swap in a 5.0 and have to run a different trans. Thanks all - Randy
