Frame Interchangeability??
Hi everyone
I have a 1992 Ford Ranger XLT extra cab 2 wd with frame damage. I also have a 1987 ranger XLT 4wd donor frame. I was wondering if I can strip the suspension out of the 4wd frame add my 2wd suspension and reassemble truck with my 2wd parts? I just need to know if these frames are interchangeable without any welding. I know it's a lot of work but my 2wd truck is too good to junk. Any responses or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
