no low beams

no low beams
ok...weird problem....no low beams only highs a realy highs....like ive gotten my lows to work and there as bright as ud expect. but then my highs are normaly to....untill i hit the switch then they get bright as the sun... so whats up with that?

Sounds like the switch isn't disconnecting the power to the low beam filament in the lamps when you flip to high beams. The drawback to this is the heat generated by this situation could cause lamphouse and/or wiring meltdown problems. So in other words BOTH filaments in the lamps are energized at the same time giving you the additional light.
