cold weather problems
I have a 2000 f250 super duty.It does not want to start in cold weather.It will start up and then die immediately.If I start it with the accelerator depressed it will stay running,after reaching normal operating temperature it will idle at 5000 rpm,if there is any sudden start or stop it will die.It normally idles at about 900 to 1100 rpm.I was told by several people that it was the engine coolant sensor'I replaced it to no avail.Anybody have any ideas?It does not have this problem in warmer weather 50 degrees plus.It is a 5.4 gas engine.
