First, make sure that all tie rods and drag link are tight and not warn out. Second, make sure all ball joints and radius arm bushings are tight.
There is an adjustment screw located on top of the gear box, but my understanding is that this adjustment screw is only a quick fix and will not cure sloppy steering problems.
I have been doing some homework are the ford steering systems because my gear box is shot.
I will soon be replacing my gear and pump with stuff from AGR. Included in this overhaul will be new lines, the addition of a cooler and new fluid.
