i recently bought a 78 f 250 hi boy from a family member who could not make it run. after i put in a timing chain, distributor,coil, and other electronic parts she runs. well sort of it idles fine but it misses and backfires while going down the road. the choke doesnt work, so i think a new carb would fix this problem. therefor i am searching for one to fit a 400 (no M) i love this site and i have visited many times but just recently joined. i am in tucson az. and cant wait to get the truck in the mud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
