Got a Bronco!

Finaly got a new (for me) Bronco. It's a 1987 Eddie Bauer, 5.0. Has 6"(?) of lift and some 35x14.50 super swampers. Just got it last Friday. Had exhaust done because the exhaust had failed inspection. They removed one of the cats, put a y-pipe in and ran duals the rest of the way. Had 3" installed. Hope that's not too large a pipe. The guy who did it also has a Bronco he did the same thing to so he recommended it to mine. Sounds awesome and now runs better. I did an oil change, cleaned the K&N filter and i am going to change out the plugs shortly. The tailgate naturally has rust issues. May end up replacing that. The window works sometimes, best if i'm lowering it while going over a bump. But it does work. The four wheel drive does work too. Tested that out last night. Anyway, any advice would be great. I did have an '84, but it was 351 and carb, so the 5.0 and EFI is new to me. Pics as soon as i figure out how.

Congrats on your new addition. Sounds like a real killer especially with that exhaust! Hope you have tons of fun with it.

Happy horsin' around. Check or have a competant mechanic check you suspension, steering gear, and driveshaft angles if not an aftermarket lift. Properly installed they are great for increased suspension travel and clearance for larger skins. Improperly installed or home-made they may cause problems. Again, enjoy your new Bronco and have a great weekend!
