Clock or Tach?

Hello, on the 1980-86 dashes just above the shift indicator is that supposed to be a clock or a tachometer from factory. I just saw a picture in one of the gallery's but I could not make it out. Man they must be rare as I have not seen one yet, even at the wreckers.
